This November ACME will be debuting a new commission for the Due West Arts festival, a site specific work titled Doppler.
Doppler has been composed by Joseph O’Connor and Alistair McLean in response to Jack’s Magazine, a 19th century explosives storage compound on the banks of the Maribyrnong river.
It’s debuting across 4 shows on the 23rd and 24th of November. For more info and tickets you can visit Due West Arts Festival.
We’ve got a new composition/sonic art piece up as part of the exhibition If the City Could Speak, curated by Emily Siddons for existing audio infrastructure in the City of Melbourne. It’s on 24 hours a day from the 22nd to the 29th of September in the walkway running between the Arts Centre and Hamer Hall.
